I am both a Chartered Psychologist (British Psychological Society) and Registered Health Psychologist (Health and Care Professions Council). I have a BA(Hons) in Psychology, a MSc in Health Psychology and hold a Post Graduate Certificate in Higher Education. I was awarded my PhD in Health Psychology in 2005.

I am a Health Psychology Stage 2 Assessor and Registered Applied Psychology Practice Supervisor with the British Psychological Society (BPS), a Registration Assessor for the Health and Care professionals Council and a Principal Fellow of AdvanceHE (PFHEA). I am also the current Chair of the BPS Division of Health Psychology and vice Chair of the Council of Deans for Health (East Midlands region).
